Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of BandarTrade ("the Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

The service in plain language

BandarTrade is a quoting and document automation tool for freight forwarders, C&F agents, and shipping agents. We extract data from your rate sheets and bills of lading, let you build branded quotes and invoices, and let you track shipments. We do not arrange freight; we are software, not a carrier or a forwarder.

Your account

• You're responsible for keeping your login credentials safe and for everything that happens under your account.
• If you suspect unauthorized access, email us immediately.
• You must be authorized to act on behalf of any organization you create or join in the Service.

Your data

You own the data you put into BandarTrade. We hold it on your behalf, secured with the controls described in our Privacy Policy. You can export it any time. We will not access it except to operate the Service or as needed for support.

AI-generated content

Our AI features (rate-sheet parsing, BL extraction, vision OCR) are powerful but not infallible. Always verify extracted values before using them in legal documents or submitting them to customs. The verify-and-confirm UI exists for exactly this reason. We are not liable for losses arising from un-verified AI output.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful purposes, including shipments prohibited by sanctions law.
• Attempt to access another organization's data, reverse-engineer the application, or interfere with the infrastructure.
• Resell or sublicense the Service without our written agreement.
• Send spam or unsolicited bulk communications via the email or WhatsApp connectors.

Third-party providers

The Service depends on Supabase, Render, Resend, Groq, Google (Gmail), and Meta (WhatsApp). Outages or changes at these providers may temporarily affect the Service. Your AI BYOK usage is governed by the policies of the AI provider you choose.

Fees & billing

If a paid plan is in effect, fees are described separately. Free-tier usage is subject to the limits surfaced in the product (monthly token quotas, email send limits, etc).

Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time. We can suspend access if you violate these Terms, in which case we'll tell you why and give you a chance to address it. On termination we will retain your data for up to 30 days for export, then delete it.

Disclaimers & limits of liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties — express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Our aggregate liability under these Terms is capped at the fees you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or USD 100, whichever is greater.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Dhaka.

Changes

If we make material changes, we'll email the address on file at least 14 days in advance.
